DAY 6 EURO TRIP: ROME, ITALY

Rome was exciting, busy with locals and tourists!!! We did a walking-city-tour and it was hard to keep up as people got carried away with taking photos - I missed out on a few important historical info and lagging behind in the group.

Our first stop was the Spanish Steps, the landmark locals use for meeting up spots..

The view was awesome, blessed with good weather.

We stopped at the Capuchin Monks Church and saw the Brother's Tomb (No photography was allowed. It was very dark & moist in the rooms while viewing the bones presented decoratively.)

The Trevi Fountain was a surprise... we were walking around the corner and BOOM! There it was!!! Spectacular!!! Across from the fountain we saw the various locks on the gates outlining the semi-circle entrance of a Church. The locks were from locals & travelers symoblising couples. The amount of locks showed the universal theme of LOVE...

The Pantheon was the next stop... There were many locals dressed up in traditional clothing or characters, a photo-opp for some, but a cruel way of getting money from foreigners.

We stopped for a snack... OMG one of the best pizza we had in Italy. Followed by gelato!

The colours of the city as the sun was setting created a great photo-opp without using the flash. Monument of Victor Emmannuel II was an eye-opener just trying to comprehend the pure size of it all!

The Collosium at night was beautiful also!!! Something worth seeing during the day!

I couldn't believe the amount of graffitti around Italy!!!.... Everywhere on trains.... it added more colour to the place I suppose?!.
