23 October 2011: Sunday Haze

A beautiful day spent riding our bikes to Redfern for Brunch - BAFFI & MO.

Good feed, Potato Hash Stack for me and an Eggs Benedict for Jr.

People watching while munching our food and washing it down with a smoothie and a fresh juice combo. Seeing all these people with pet dogs make you want to buy one for yourself!

After chilling in Redfern, we then rode our bikes through to Surry Hills and dropped by Dellis Furniture to visit Spiro. Chatted and bought up while sipping our coffees from FERNSIDE - a new coffee shop that opens on Baptist St. Amazing interior designs and furniture!

Rode around Surry Hills and Darlinghurst. On the way home found some nick knacks left on the wayside... Score!! A ladder - for a potential plant stand?! Jr and his skills rode his bike while carrying this bad-boy! Got home and rearranged the balcony with excitement!

More homeware/garden fun ha?!

22 October 2011: Saturday Scene

Had a coffee at CRAVE in Alexandria. Amazing latte in a hidden spot on Maddox Street.

More browsing for homewares! Stopped off at Dellis Furniture Warehouse and got chatting with Mrs Dellis!

A very warm day for Spring! Headed to Coogee Beach to meet up with Reyan and Ruby. They bailed after a few minutes... Which lead Jr & I to do our Coogee routine - Wedges and Cider at Coogee palace!

Yumooo!

17 October 2011: Catch Ups with Robbo

Finally caught up with Robbo over drinks and dinner with Jr at El Loco.

Amazing feel with the interiors and design of the whole place! Feels like you're in Mexico - even though I've never been! LOL. Awesome beers too!

Not to mention the $5 tacos!!! Oo-weee!!

Wash down the beers with El Loco's hot dogs and burgers!!!

Great catching up over beers and Mexican food!!!

16 October 2011: Sunday

The store we love going into!! Mitchell Road Antiques!!! Amazing! There is just so much to look and so much you would want to buy!!

We headed upstairs for the first time to see the cafe they have and the crazy amount of goods they have - all placed in top notch merchandising skills!

We parked our car and I saw this...

While I was prepping for visitors to come over for lunch, Jr went to HFOC - another homeware store we love that's around the corner from us. "Honey, I'm home!"... with 2 new stools!!

Lei and Molin arrived with growing Zara!!

It was good catching up and seeing the little Molina!!! hehe.

9 October 2011: Sunday Gardening

Sunday gardening!!! Spent the afternoon at Bunnings finding pots and soil for our herbs on the balcony.

8 October 2011: Brunch

Having caught up with Simone, we exchanged 'things to do and check out' in our area. So our Saturday pretty much consisted of all her recommendations!

First stop was Carriageworks Eveleigh Markets. We bought flowers and a new herbs to plant - Rosemary.

Getting home and putting our purchases away in their spot.

5 October 2011: Dryland

Caught up with Simone during a school night. We rode our bikes into Redfern and locked it while we heading into Dryland for dinner and drinks. A new wine bar with minimal and quirky interiors. My love for pendant lights and bar stools lined the narrow bar.

It's always good catching up with my girlfriend over wine and food!

3 October 2011: Public Holiday Monday

Shane and Nivi decided to drop by our place. Hang out for a bit while they were in the area. And this is what they rocked up in!!! Shane's weekend car!!! How hot is that!!

A few of my family members come over for a late lunch. The kids are always entertaining!!

Saying goodbye - kids not vein gin the mode - kids feeling tired.... Results in whining and tears!!

Congrats again Jess & Euge!!!

A beautiful Wedding!!!

The reception was at The QVB Tea Room - it was stunning!! Delicious food, company and entertainment!!!

Brown Sugar was their band for the night!

The best newly wed dance to Bruno Marz - Marry You! Started off with the couple dance then their family and close mates joined in! Awesome!!!

Let them eat cake!
