LONDON-LOVE DAY 1: HEATHROW TO EARLS COURT

OMG!!!! In London!!!

A 8hr flight from Sydney to Singapore with QANTAS was fine, just being fed well and watching a hell-lot of movies! A 1&half hour stop over in Singapore, then a dreadful 12hr flight to Heathrow. Sleep, eat and more movies. I was worried about my eyes popping due to my cold

when I got back from the Philippines - but all was good!



Caught the tube from Heathrow to Earls Court to meet up with Rod & Denise at their hostel. Seeing the London sights from the tube was exciting, you could see a bit of Melbourne there. Lagging out overweight luggage was a pain physically on my back and every muscle on my body.

We finally met up with Rod & Denise after dropping our luggage at the Earls Court Studio. We walked around and made our way to Battersea. We caught those black London Taxis, and OMG I was excited! It was definitely an experience.

We met Rod's Auntie at the house (via a London Taxi - exciting stuff) we planned to live in and looked at the suburban 3 leveled house. After the tour of the house we underwent a 20/20 at first intense question time from the owner. At first we were intimidated, but then settled in with flowing conversations. After 2hrs of talking, coffee & cake, we finally left to cab it back to Earls Court. From there on then, we picked the house to pieces and analysed our situation. We had a late lunch at an Irish Pub called O'NEILS. Shepherds Pie was you beaut! From there we spent a while talking about anything but everything.

We left O'NEILS in the evening to buy food at MARKS & SPENCERS. Surprisingly it was a grocery store rather a clothing store. We managed to find budget microwave/oven food! Yay! Pasta/Lasagna, bottles of water, bread & cheese.

We were so tired when we got back to the studio, I crashed & burned the moment my head touched the bed at 8am. It was an early night for all 4 of us.
