Banksy Exhibition to The V&A's Photography Showcase
Thanks to www.viewlondon.co.uk - I found that there was a BANKSY Exhibition being held at The Andipa Gallery...162 Walton Street, Knightsbridge London SW3 2JL. It was finishing on the day after I found the website!!!... www.andipamodern.com
My Sister & I made our way to South Kensington to visit the Gallery and get snap happy!
Amazing works of Street Art by Banksy that were well worth over the thousands!!! OMG!? The ones I liked were the 'Girl with Balloon' and the 'Girl and Spliff'....
Checking out Banksy's work made you want to get into street graff again... It reminded me of my Uni Major Project... Designing DJ WHO?'s Visual Identity using Street Graphics...
The main event was due to this project: 'Are You Using That Chair'... An appropriated piece of art... Can you recall the original artist that made the artwork? If so, please let me know by commenting... Cheers..
Tine & I made our way to The V&A (Victoria & Albret) Museum again... to check out their Gift Store, make use of their public ammenities and to check out their Photography Exhibition... we missed out before as it was closed off for a special event...
Found out that The V&A are holding a free Photography Workshop... woot!!
Amazing architecture, design, interior design... even in the toilets!!! LOL.
SCOTLAND: DAY 7 Last in Scotland
Goodbye to the town of Killin... where we had bought majority of our groceries... A very cozy town where everyone knows each other...
Had lunch at the Airport... Mac Cheese for Jr and a Bangers & Mash for me...
We were all buggard from the travel... finally arrived in Angel with Tim welcoming us back in our London home...
Scotland was an awesome place to visit with very friendly Scottish Folks... The stand out was the old lady we asked for directions trying to get to The Loch Ness Visiting Centre.... She was so cute and little. Small world coz we bumped into her at the same place... She had 'Oriental' Friends!...

SCOTLAND: DAY 5 William Wallace & Stirling Castle
Another long drive to Stirling this time to visit The Sir William Wallace Monument. A day with sun and a heap of wind!!
There was a 'solider' onsite sighting/quoting details of history to the crowd that had gathered around him. Well done to the Scottish actor...
More workouts!... Climbing 250+ steps that spiraled up the Monument that exhibited The Life of William Wallace, Scotland's Heros, Info on building the Monument & the Views of Stirling from the very top of the tower.
It was such a windy day! From the top of the Monument especially... I thought I was going to get blown away!! The height & wind made me lower myself down to the ground - I pretty much had to crawl on the floor!!!... Funny thing was there were other foreigners that were there and just strolled on in on the top with ease!! (Mara you pounce!!!)
The ride down the mountain in a mini-van... yay! The ease of it all! LOL. The Scottish fella that drove the van was saying how 'lazy' we were! Oh yes indeed! Funny guy!
Lunch was cheap - we found a bakery.. A Scottish Meat Pie & a Sausage Roll.... down that baby with Coke!!! Nice! Boy did we stand out in that town!! The only Orientals packed with their cameras ready round their necks!
Next stop - STIRLING CASTLE.... The first castle I've ever visited Overseas!!!...
A statue of King Robert The Bruce was clearly in view near the entrance of the castle... from the distance you could see The William Wallace Monument.
We had a tour-guide showing us around informing the group of the Castle's history.... Below, the Great Hall's roof was made with a forest of trees only holding them together were just wooden pegs - no nails or bolts were used! Un-ber-reeb-ba-bral!!
We were so buggard from the day out - Denise made us dinner! Hamburgers, Mash Potatoes & Veggies!! Scrumptious!!
