LONDON-LOVE DAY 7: DOUBLE-DECKER BUSES

Great weather with the sun out and a morning chill in the air. We all get ready to go to Oxford Street for some touro walkabout & window shopping!

Scene around our local Earls Court Hood.

Ground level studio room to the first level double room. Big difference in space.... funny thing is that when you're standing up in the rom, it feels like you're on an angle. LOL.

The beautiful houses/apartments along the street we're living in temporarily makes us feel jealous and want to just move into our future apartment in Angel and settle in, without living in a suitcase!...

Mark & Spencer is our local grocer, with cheap bargain meals - 3 Microwave dinners for 5 Pounds. We love that place!!

Welcome to the modern red double-decker bus! Exciting shit once we climbed to the top and examined the views.

Tim & I were trigger happy with our SLR cameras. Woot!

We caught Bus 74 to take us to Marble Arch and walk to Oxford Street. The views were beautiful and catching the bus was something we'd look into catching more often rather the tube. Seeing London on the top level was awesome!!

Walking down Oxford Street was exhausting. Window shopping was all we could do, as we all don't have jobs! Boo! Getting a job and looking forward to splurging our pay on clothing was bittersweet.

Stores like Primark, H&M, Topshop are a few that we'll most definitely revisit and spend the mul-ahhhh on. It got a bit too repetitive seeing the same stores again further down the track. So we opted to head to SOHO - Chinatown.

The aromas of Chinatown teased our tastebuds, which resutled us in chowing down at 'MR WU's Restaurant'. A buffet lunch for 4.95 Pounds sounded reasonable.

After eating the first few dishes, we all new that we made the biggest mistake! Boo! The food wasn't crash hot, and was a disappointment for Chinatown in our books. :(

Oh 'Superbowl' where art tho??

We then continued to walk through WESTEND, seeing all the theatres lined up next to each other. We so need to see a production once we're earning money!

Catching the bus back was sloppy as we weren't sure where to go. With the help of Locals we made our way to the correct stop. We got the bus and got on, except Tim as he ran out of funds on his Oystercard. We met him at the Hyde Park stop.

We checked our funds on our Oystercards as Tim's experience got us paranoid. Hyde Park Station tunnels was so ghetto, lucky we didn't stay long.

A night in was recommended as the weather tuned and it was hellah freezing!!! We bummed on the bed, sipping hot chocolate and watched 'Slumdog Millionaire'.
