LONDON-LOVE 15/04/09: MILTON KEYNES

Day trip to Milton Keynes.... a 45min overground train ride to an indoor XSCAPE...



You knew once you were out of London when the air started to smell fresher & cleaner! The Shopping centre had a mixed outdoor design... the environment looked like it was planned similar to CANBERRA.

Check out the indoor snow!! We all planned to go snow boarding but thing was you had to go in with standards... knowing how to stop... had experience blah blah blah... Jr hadn't been boarding and my sis & I hadn't boarded in 5 years... So the 3 of us opted to sit this one out and let Rod & Denise take the glory... It looked fun...

LONDON-LOVE 14/04/09: NATIONAL GALLERIES

Jr & I didn't want to waste a day, so we decided to check out the Galleries in Trafalgar Square... First one was The National Gallery. Artists such as Picasso, Monet & Cezanne had works exhibited....




No photography was allowed, but I managed to squeeze in a few...





Next stop: The National Portrait Gallery.

LONDON-LOVE 10/04/09: EASTER

Spent Easter Long Weekend with Charles and Michelle in Maryleborn... We had lunch at a local FISH N CHIP Restaurant with amazing food!! A large size too!

LONDON-LOVE 08/04/09: FLAT WHITE TO APPLE....& CARNABY

This is what happens when you bumb in London.... you look for good coffee and check our emails at the APPLE Store! LOL...


There was one point where Jr, Rod & I had been in the APPLE store for half a day with our laptops in their free lecture halls taking advantage of their free wi-fi!!!... Till someone got busted downloading a whole heap of music!!! Ehhhem... you know who you are!

A day of sight-seeing in SOUTH BANK... Welcome to London Bridge!


The walk along the RIVER THAMES was nice - to see other buildings... cafe/stores....art...


Shakespeare's Globe - Where Big Will had worked on my plays back in the days... A number of productions were playing, especially ROMEO & JULIET...



The TATE MODERN.... Another Gallery to check out properly in the near future...


The Millennium Bridge looked out of place in context to its surrounding architectural structures!!!


Stop off at a Cafe along the water for beer and some hot chips! Yum!!

Last stop was WATERLOO STATION - know for The BOURNE Movie filming onsite!! I felt comforted knowing that Matt Damon had set foot here!! LOL.
