LONDON-LOVE 06/04/09: SOUTH BANK

A day of sight-seeing in SOUTH BANK... Welcome to London Bridge!

The walk along the RIVER THAMES was nice - to see other buildings... cafe/stores....art...

Shakespeare's Globe - Where Big Will had worked on my plays back in the days... A number of productions were playing, especially ROMEO & JULIET...

The TATE MODERN.... Another Gallery to check out properly in the near future...

The Millennium Bridge looked out of place in context to its surrounding architectural structures!!!

Stop off at a Cafe along the water for beer and some hot chips! Yum!!

Continuing along the Queen's Walk...

A skate park in the middle of South Bank...

The London Eye!... maria with Clarette..

Say "HI" to Big Ben for us!!!...

Tim's first pay cheque can in, so it was his treat to shout us all dinner!! Lucky for the 50% off at THE SLUG Restaurant! Yummy cocktails and food!

Last stop was WATERLOO STATION - know for The BOURNE Movie filming onsite!! I felt comforted knowing that Matt Damon had set foot here!! LOL.
